Monarch Spin Collection Tubes (2 ml) are designed to be used with Monarch Spin Columns for the collection of waste and other fractions during centrifugation steps in Monarch Spin Nucleic Acid Purification. These collection tubes are included with Monarch Spin Nucleic Acid Purification Kits and also available for purchase separately for flexibility and convenience.

Monarch Spin Collection Tubes are a component of various Monarch kits and are compatible with kits such as the Monarch Total RNA Miniprep Kit (NEB #T2010), Monarch RNA Cleanup Kits (NEB #T2030, #T2040, #T2050), Monarch Genomic DNA Purification Kit (NEB #T3010), and Monarch HMW Extraction Kits (NEB #T3050, #T3060).   1. Which Monarch® columns and bead retainers can be used with which Monarch collection tube?
  2. I noticed the collection tube dimensions has changed slightly in the Monarch® HMW DNA Extraction Kit for Cells & Blood (NEB #T3050) and the Monarch HMW DNA Extraction Kit for Tissue (NEB #T3060). Will this impact performance?
  3. I notice that I'm applying force to fit the column into a collection tube. Should I be doing this? What collection tubes are compatible with columns?
