NEBNext® Ultra II RNA First Strand Synthesis Module

Product Introduction

This module is part of the Ultra II Directional RNA and Ultra II RNA workflowsfor Illumina®- compatible RNA library construction. These workflows are compatible with poly(A) mRNA isolation or ribosomal RNA depletion, and enable high yield preparation of high quality libraries from 10 ng – 1 µg total RNA.

 

Kits are also available that include reagents for every step in the Ultra II Directional RNA library construction workflow (NEBNext Ultra II Directional RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina (NEB #E7760) and NEBNext Ultra II Directional RNA Library Prep with Sample Purification Beads (NEB #E7765)) and non-directional Ultra II RNA library construction workflow (NEBNext Ultra II RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina (NEB #E7770) and NEBNext Ultra II RNA Library Prep with Sample Purification Beads (NEB #E7775)).

Description


The NEBNext Ultra II RNA First Strand Synthesis Module has been optimized to convert a broad range of input amounts of RNA into cDNA using random priming.

The module is optimized for use with the NEBNext Ultra II Directional RNA Second Strand Synthesis Module (NEB #E7550) or the NEBNext Ultra II Non-Directional RNA Second Strand Synthesis Module (NEB #E6111), and is part of the Ultra II RNA directional or non-directional workflows. These workflows are compatible with poly(A) mRNA isolation or ribosomal RNA depletion, and enable high yield preparation of high quality libraries from 10 ng – 1 µg total RNA.
