Product Information

Description

The SARS-CoV-2 Positive Control (N gene) is a plasmid that contains the SARS-CoV-2 N-gene (GenBank: MN908947.3). It includes a T7 RNA promoter sequence for generation of RNA transcripts, if necessary. This product is used for assay validation of RT-qPCR, LAMP, or other detection methods for SARS-CoV-2 that target the N gene. The concentration is approximately 1,000,000 copies/μl.

Please note that it is not recommended to use the Positive Control concentration as an absolute copy number for quantitative experiments.
