NEBNext® Ultra™ II FS DNA Module
This module is part of the NEBNext® Ultra™ II FS workflow, and is optimized for use with the NEBNext Ultra II Ligation Module (NEB #E7595), for Illumina®-compatible library construction.
Kits that include reagents for every step in the Ultra II FS DNA library construction workflow are also available (NEBNext Ultra II FS DNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina NEB #E7805 and NEBNext Ultra II FS DNA Library Prep with Sample Purification Beads NEB #E6177).
Note: The Ultra II FS (Fragmentation System) enzyme mix does not include NEBNext dsDNA Fragmentase®.

Product Information
The NEBNext Ultra II FS DNA Module has been optimized to convert 100 pg - 0.5 μg of intact DNA to fragmented, end-repaired DNA having 5´ phosphorylated, 3´ dA-tailed ends. The module is optimized for use with the NEBNext Ultra II Ligation Module (NEB #E7595), and is part of the Ultra II FS DNA workflow.
For Illumina library construction, the NEBNext Ultra II FS DNA Module is designed for use with the following:
- NEBNext Ultra II Ligation Module (NEB #E7595)
- NEBNext Ultra II Q5® Master Mix (NEB #M0544)
- NEBNext Oligos for Illumina (NEB #E7335, #E7500, #E7710, #E7730, #E6609, #E7600 #E7535, #E7350)
For use with NEBNext Multiplex Oligos for Illumina (Unique Dual Index UMI Adaptors DNA Set 1) (NEB #E7395), refer to the Protocols tab for UMI Adaptors-specific guidance.
