Principle
For rapid medium and large scale preparation of genomic DNA from plant cells and fungi
The NucleoSpin® Plant II Midi / Maxi kit is designed for the isolation of genomic DNA from plant material and fungi. NucleoSpin® Plant II Midi allows processing of up to 400 mg starting material and NucleoSpin® Plant II Maxi up to 1500 mg. Depending on the individual sample, typical yields are in the range from 10 up to 100 μg DNA (Midi) and 50 up to 300 µg (Maxi). The eluted DNA is ready to use for Southern blotting, PCR, restriction analysis, and others.
