Innovative multi-color system ensures correct pipetting
Principles
Finnzymes’ new DyNAmo ColorFlash qPCR Kits are a superior choice for fast, quantitative real-time analysis. These kits offer excellent performance in detection and quantification of DNA sequences from various sources. DyNAmo ColorFlash qPCR Kits are designed to ease qPCR setup and minimize errors by providing a simple way to track pipetting of reaction components.
The two kits, DyNAmo ColorFlash SYBR Green qPCR Kit and DyNAmo ColorFlash Probe qPCR Kit, utilize an innovative color system: the 2x Master Mix contains a blue dye, and a separate sample buffer contains a yellow dye. The qPCR reaction mix containing both components is green. Using this patent-pending multicolor system, pipetting of both the master mix and the sample can be easily monitored. This significantly decreases the risk for pipetting errors during reaction setup, even when using white reaction vessels. The dyes do not affect the specificity or sensitivity of qPCR assays.

Blue + yellow = green.
Finnzymes’ DyNAmo ColorFlash qPCR Kits contain 2x Master Mix supplemented with a blue dye. The yellow 40x sample buffer is included as a separate vial. This buffer can be mixed with the samples to provide visual aid when pipetting the samples.

Assists reaction setup with clear and white plates.
White reaction vessels are especially good for qPCR applications as they deliver higher signal intensities than clear vessels. However, traditional colorless reaction components are poorly visible in white wells, making reaction setup more difficult. DyNAmo ColorFlash qPCR Kits overcome this difficulty and decrease the risk of pipetting errors. In the image, the blue wells contain only the 2x Master mix. The green color indicates that the sample DNA with yellow color has also been added into the reaction.
Storage and stability
DyNAmo ColorFlash qPCR Kits are shipped on gel ice. Upon arrival, store all kit components at -20 °C. When using the 2x master mix, the leftover thawed mix can be refrozen and stored at -20 °C without affecting the performance of the kit.
The yellow sample buffer solution is stable and can be stored at +4°C, but storage at -20°C with the other kit components is recommended.
The kits are stable for six months from the packaging date when stored and handled properly.
