Strips of 8 PCR Tubes With Tethered Caps

4titude® offers a range of PCR consumables for low to medium throughput applications. These PCR tubes are moulded from virgin polypropylene under clean-room conditions and are subject to our extensive QC testing. They are low bind and free from RNAse DNase and Human Genomic DNA.
 
The tubes on each strip are joined together by three links (4ti-0792 and 4ti-0793) or by one strong link (4ti-0794) to make the strip more rigid and help reduce any chance of spillage. They can however easily be separated into smaller sections or individual tubes. The strips are available with tethered flat optically clear caps or domed caps. The flat optically clear caps enable light signals, such as fluorescence, to pass through without affecting the signal, and are suitable for imaging techniques including qPCR and rtPCR. Each cap is separately joined to a tube, making it impossible to either cross contaminate another tube with the wrong cap, or to lose a cap altogether.
 
There are two variants of capacity:
100µl (4ti-0793, with flat optical caps) 
200µl (4ti-0792, with flat optical caps) and (4ti-0794, with domed caps)
 
Identitags are our unique labelling system designed specifically for use with strip tubes. They slip easily onto the tubes where they are held securely enabling specific labeling of each tube on the strip, using pen or barcode stickers.
